Sometimes, things go left!

Hi, it’s Lynita Mitchell-Blackwell here! Just finished coordinating a photo shoot for the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers' upcoming book collaboration, and it was amazing. And even though things did’t turn out quite like I had in mind, everybody kept their good spirits and knew that we were united for a cause and just rode with it.

I’m talking about both 85 and 20 had bad accidents so the MUAs were late because of them. I’m talking about I arrived and I’m the only one who had her make up done because I did my own and so I changed and took pictures and I did not expect to because I’m coordinating. I’m talking about even the timing of people arriving and leaving, and taking first shots and second shots but everybody was peaceful.

And I came on here just to say that you know, things happen the way they need to, in the time that they need to happen. Even after we make our schedules and we plan, and we prepare and we talk to people and coordinate and do everything that we can, sometimes things just go left, and right, and up and down. But if you have a good spirit, good energy about yourself, you know how to turn those things around and people follow the leader. So, if you’ve got a good attitude, they will too!

Have Grace For Others

I am so grateful people have grace for me.   Somebody asked me for a referral for a specific type of attorney. I got the referral but couldn't remember who asked me for it.   So I just tucked it away.
