Have Grace For Others

I am so grateful people have grace for me.

Somebody asked me for a referral for a specific type of attorney. I got the referral but couldn't remember who asked me for it.

So I just tucked it away.

They followed up and said, "Hey, I just want to remind you..."

I said, "I do have it!" And I sent it back so quickly. They knew that I wasn't just asking for it. And they were like, Thank you so much.

And I felt through the message that they were not angry. They were just grateful and I had reciprocal gratitude because it could have turned out so much differently than that, right?

And it just made me think, we have to have grace for other people. The same kind of grace we want for ourselves.

Something to think about.
