Fulfilment Over Satisfaction

Good afternoon, good folks!
I was home in Miami for the holidays, and guess what? It was 58 degrees.
"I left this weather in Atlanta", I thought. I put on a jacket and got my walk in for the day. As I pulled my zipper up to my chin, a thought struck me:
The unexpected is not there to throw us off, but to inspire gratitude.
Just the day before, I was thinking to myself, "I'm going to boil alive" because it was so hot... and now here I am thinking to myself, "I miss the warmth of yesterday."
Sometimes we feel really conflicted when we have these kind of thoughts. Am I never to be satisfied? But we don't build lives to be satisfied, we build to be wholly fulfilled.
And the difference between the two is satisfaction is staying pat.
It's living in safety that is man-made. Whereas fulfillment that is living in your purpose, walking in vision, and knowing that no matter what is in front of us, the physical, that the spiritual is taking care of us at all times. That we are the manifestation of every thought, action, and word that we think, that we speak, that we do.
And that is the difference. And so when we think about the fact that sometimes we can be inconsistent, that is what is causing the inconsistency that we have our minds focused on satisfaction and not on fulfillment.
So right now I'm walking in fulfillment. I'm walking in being grateful, for being able to walk outside in 58 degrees and being able to talk while I do it. Have a good day!
